How long can I expect to be in therapy?2019-03-12T13:57:49-04:00

The length of therapy varies according to the nature, duration, intensity, and frequency of symptoms or problems. I typically recommend that patients come one to three times per week. Some patients only come to a few sessions while others come for a year or more. By the end of your initial session, we should be able to decide together what may be the best course of treatment for you.

What is your orientation and what would our sessions be like?2019-03-12T13:56:52-04:00

I have experience with a wide range of orientations and will tailor the treatment to what best meets your needs and expectations.

Do you take insurance?2019-03-12T13:55:03-04:00

I do work with insurance companies and am considered  provider for some plans. I recommend that you contact your insurance company and inquire about your mental health benefits (particularly your out-of-network  benefits). I will be happy to help you find out more about your plan, if it seems confusing or if you are unfamiliar with the terms. Further, my billing person will provide you with all the necessary paperwork for filing claims throughout your treatment. Feel free to call with questions about this; we are happy to further explain how you can use your insurance to pay for therapy.
